Recognizing the retail industry had an ongoing need for talent and that the skills to identify and recruit this talent were not always available, Bob Kenzer founded Kenzer Corp. in 1973. As chairman and CEO, Bob has overseen the growth of Kenzer Corp. into one of the largest executive search firm in the retail industry.

As the company grew, Bob realized the demands for talented people in other industries were just as great as those in retail. This insight has led to Kenzer's expanding its areas of specialization to financial services, food, hospitality/entertainment and manufacturing including the packaged goods, durables and fashion industries.

Under Bob's leadership the Kenzer Corp. has successfully recruited the highest-level executives at many major companies as well as filling a large number of senior and middle management positions. When he founded his company, Bob recognized the first thing that had to be done was to find talent that understood business and could provide the service and the experience that would allow Kenzer clients to fill their staffing needs. He also recognized that to do this successfully he would have to build a network with talented people.

Each search the Kenzer Corp. conducts is done on three levels: technically, culturally and environmentally. The candidate has to have the technical qualifications for the position; must be able to fit culturally into the organization; and they and their families have to be environmentally compatible to the location.

Bob began his career in retailing after graduating from New York University with a degree in business. He held a series of management positions in the retail industry before deciding to form Kenzer Corp.
